The International Conference on Adoption Research (ICAR), which first took place in 1999, has become a key event for the international scientific community of adoption researchers and academics.
The forthcoming seventh edition will take place in Milan, Italy, from 7th to 11th July 2020, and will gather outstanding scholars and professionals from different fields in an interdisciplinary perspective. The exchange of the latest research findings and their implications for intervention can provide a substantial help to fill the gap between research and practice and improve the well-being of adopted children and their families.
